Involved in the drill were UH-60 Black Hawks and other helicopters of the 2nd air brigade under the 2nd division of the U.S. army in south Korea and Tokdo landing ship of the south Korean puppet navy.

The drill was aimed to acquire the capability of the U.S. helicopters for landing on the above-said ship.

The warmongers declared that the recent drill was for coordinated operation between the U.S. and the puppet forces in contingency.

They conducted a similar drill targeting the major objects of the DPRK in May last year.

The recent drill is a prelude to the resumption of the U.S.-south Korea joint military exercises as it was staged in the period when the Winter Olympics was successfully held thanks to the DPRK's sincere efforts and the atmosphere for improved north-south relations was being created.
