The letter noted that the participants in the meeting discussed and decided to convene the 24th Congress of Chongryon and glorify it as the one of glory and loyalty building a new landmark for the development of the movement of Koreans in Japan in the great Kim Jong Un's era by intensifying the struggle to make a decisive breakthrough in the development of the movement centering on branches, forefront units for the patriotic movement, true to the noble idea and intention clarified by the Supreme Leader in his New Year message.

They are full of determination to display loyalty to trust and follow Marshal Kim Jong Un only at the congress, the first of its kind after holding him in high esteem as the chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and strikingly manifest once again the true picture of Chongryon which has achieved single-hearted unity of the ranks and the harmonious whole of the compatriots all over the world and build a new landmark in the sacred path for the development and strengthening of the patriotic movement of Chongryon, it said.

They will further strengthen Chongryon into ranks of single-hearted unity and harmonious whole in which the Juche ideological system and leadership system have been firmly established, and into invincible ranks with iron discipline and militancy, the letter said, adding:

We will make tangible contributions to the building of a powerful socialist country by sharing the same breath and same footstep with the people in the homeland who are bringing into a brilliant reality the great General's patriotic desire for a powerful country this significant year marking the 70th birthday of the DPRK.

The letter stressed that they would fulfill their mission and patriotic duty before the country and the nation in the nationwide movement for opening up a breakthrough for the independent reunification, true to the policy for great change in the north-south relations and epoch-making measures of the Supreme Leader who gave bright joy and delight of the independent reunification of the country to all the Koreans and moved the whole world.
