Born as a daughter of a poor peasant family in Orang County of North Hamgyong Province during the period of the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists, she experienced the sorrow of being a member of the stateless nation.

It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated Korea that she could live a genuine and happy life

She devoted herself to performing her revolutionary duty in the past. After becoming a pensioner, she leads her life optimistically, keeping herself busy.

She always tells her children to work hard for the grateful party and country, saying that she lives long thanks to the best socialist system in the world.
