Noting that two armed right-wingers of Japan committed such heinous terrorism as firing several bullets at the hall in which the Chongryon Central Standing Committee headquarters, the statement said:

The Chongryon Central Standing Committee speaks for the dignity, rights and interests of Chongryon organizations and Koreans in Japan and plays the role as a diplomatic mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea under the present situation where no diplomatic ties exist between the DPRK and Japan.

Therefore, terrorism against Chongryon is just a wanton violation of the DPRK's sovereignty.

Japan is an unethical state as it turned Korea into its colony and maltreated and incriminated the Korean nation in the past.

We scathingly condemn the recent terrorist act of right-wing gangsters of Japan and strongly demand severe punishment of the criminals.
