Minju Joson Condemns U.S. for Slapping Sanctions against DPRK
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The U.S. announced on February 23 that it would enforce sanctions against 56 designations in total - 27 shipping and trading companies, 28 vessels and 1 individual - of the DPRK and other countries, under the pretext of "blockade". It even made public "international transport warning" to the effect that individuals and marine transport companies involved in sea trade with the DPRK can be subject to sanctions imposed by the U.S.

Minju Joson says in a commentary Wednesday that this is the harshest and most heinous move aimed to stifle the DPRK.

The U.S. is still obsessed with the absurd fantasy that sanctions and pressure can work on the DPRK, the commentary notes, and goes on:

Additional sanctions by the Trump group are nothing but last-ditch efforts to try to retrieve its continued defeats in the showdown with the DPRK.

If the U.S. and its vassal forces try to suffocate the DPRK while calling for "sea blockade" and "cutting off financing line", that will incur strong countermeasures.

It is necessary for the Trump group to ponder over the fact that stronger counteraction will follow their violent acts and the misfortune will befall the U.S., not the world.

Unreasonable acts will make the U.S. find itself in the miserable position.
