Rodong Sinmun Ridicules Abe Group for Its Mendicant Diplomacy

Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- At the recent talks with the foreign minister of Finland, Japanese Foreign Minister Kono spat out rubbish that they should jointly cope with the DPRK's "nuclear and missile issue". Earlier, he met his Singaporean counterpart to beg for cooperation of Southeast Asian countries in pressurizing the DPRK, talking about its "evasion of sanctions".

When meeting the minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, he called upon all the countries to implement the sanctions against the DPRK. He insisted that Japan "agreed" with Mongolia to put pressure upon the DPRK in every way.

Rodong Sinmun on Thursday runs a commentary in this regard.

Citing detailed data, the commentary says the so-called "agreement" made public by the Abe group including Kono is a lie.

It goes on:

This is a mendicant diplomacy of Kono who is going round the international arena and Japan's inveterate fraudulent diplomacy.

It is a miserable plight of Japan to dance to the tune of the U.S. master for the pressure on the DPRK. That is why the Japanese diplomacy is also mendicant one pursuant to the scenario written by the U.S.

Kono's nonsense against the DPRK is gibberish of a stupid whose ability to distinguish the situation is paralyzed.

Abe and Onodera are begging for ratcheting up "pressure on the DPRK" and "maintaining the attitude of pressure against the DPRK".

It is ludicrous for the Japanese reactionaries to go against the trend of detente on the Korean peninsula.
