Japan Must Set Right Its Own Human Rights Issue: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, March 14 (KCNA) -- Recently the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun disclosed the fact that the number of cases of maltreatment of disabled persons is increasing in Japan and it was more than 2 500 in 2016 alone, saying that the wrongdoers were victims' family members or employees of homes for the aged and businesses.

The disabled people who should be protected in society are subject to discrimination and contempt in Japan, Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a commentary.

Corrupt and ailing Japan is the tundra of human rights where all sorts of social evils and inhumane crimes prevail, the commentary says, and goes on:

However, human rights abuser Japan is shamelessly faulting other countries over the situation of human rights in the international arena. This is an insult to the genuine international justice and human rights.

See your own shadow, as the saying goes. It urges a man to find his own fault before detecting others'.

If Japan foolishly continues faulting others, it would face international isolation and contempt. Japan would be well advised to reflect itself with cool head and mend its own human rights issue.
