It is an integrated information system which conforms to the international standards in developing the system of electronic clinical chart and supports overall medical services and management of hospital.

The system corresponds to HL7 (health level 7), SNOMEDCT (systemized nomenclature of medicine clinical terms), LOINC (logical observation identifiers names and codes), ICD-10 (international statistical classification of diseases and related health problems-10th revision) and DICOM (digital imaging and communication in medicine), all of which have been recognized by the International Standards Organization. And it is interchangeable with electronic clinical chart systems of foreign medical institutions.

According to Hong Un Chol, chief of e-library of the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital, the hospital has made fresh achievements in its medical service after introducing the system.
