L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the President's revolutionary career and exploits through media and organize political and cultural events such as celebration meeting on the occasion of his 106th birth anniversary.
