The journey made by the President at 11 was a patriotic and revolutionary one through which he set a great aim to know the country well, crush the Japanese imperialists by the Korean people themselves and liberate the country.

The tour group will leave Phophyong and arrive in Mangyongdae through the 250-mile journey made by the President.

A ceremony for starting the tour took place in Phophyong, Kim Hyong Jik County, Ryanggang Province on Mar. 16.

Attending it were officials concerned and youth league officials, study tour group members and schoolchildren of the county.

The participants laid a floral basket before the statue of the President at the Phophyong Revolutionary Site made a bow to him.

A report and speeches were made there.

The reporter and speakers called on all the study tour group members to bear in mind the lofty revolutionary will of the President and his burning hatred against the enemy and warm love for the country and the people.

At the end of the ceremony the study tour group members left Phophyong.

Officials, working people and schoolchildren in the county gave a good send-off to them.
