Congratulations to Chancellor of Germany

| Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- DPRK Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, Thursday sent a congratulatory message to Angela Merkel on her re-assumption of the important duty as chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany. Expressing the belief that the relations between the DPRK and Germany would develop on good terms in line with the desire and interests of the peoples of the two countries, the message wished her bigger successes in her work. On the same day, DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a congratulatory message to Heiko Maas upon his appointment as foreign minister of Germany. |
