The meetings discussed tasks and measures to glorify the 24th Congress of Chongryon as the one of glory and loyalty and more vigorously launch with branches as the center the drive for making a decisive breakthrough for the patriotic movement and adopted the relevant decision.

The 5th Meeting of the 23rd Executive Committee of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon was held in Tokyo on March 10.

Jo Il Yon, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon, and other executive members took part in the meeting.

Jo Il Yon in his report said that Chongryon conducted a 100-day campaign and a 90-day campaign according to the decision of the Chongryon Central Committee under the leadership of Kim Jong Un last year despite the strained situation and it is vigorously launching the drive for strengthening Chongryon branches this year.

He appealed to all Koreans in Japan to bear in mind the absolute trust in Kim Jong Un and pride and honor of having the motherland and intensify the struggle for bringing earlier the final victory under whatever situation.

The meeting decided to hold the 24th Congress of the Tokyo Metropolitan Headquarters of Chongryon on June 10 at the Korean Hall of Culture in Tokyo.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
