Among those present were Han Tong Song, director of the Organizational Department of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Kim Yong Ju, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, and members of the Central Committee of the league.

Chairman Kim Yong Ju made a report at the meeting.

The reporter said that the league has made precious successes in consolidating itself into an organization loved by the compatriots and trusted and relied on by the youth and students through an offensive mass movement.

He stressed the need to intensify the movement with the branches of the league as a main force up to the forthcoming its 24th Congress as required by the mass drive which is waged in an organized way in hearty response to the New Year Address and New Year message of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The congress will be a historic one through which to provide a new milestone in the Korean youth movement in Japan in the great Kim Jong Un's era, the reporter said, and called for glorifying the congress of the league, as well as the 24th Congress of Chongryon, as a congress of glory and loyalty and a congress of victory and unity.
