Study Tour Group Meets in Kanggye
Kanggye, March 20 (KCNA) -- The expedition of schoolchildren from across the country, who are making a 250-mile journey for learning, arrived in Kanggye City on Mar. 19.

After leaving Phophyong on Mar. 16, its members reached Kanggye through Wolthan, Hwaphyong, Huksu and Janggang areas.

Kanggye, associated with the traces of President Kim Il Sung, is a place where he dropped in to send his father Kim Hyong Jik a telegraphic message saying "Safe Arrival at Kanggye" during his 250-mile journey for learning.

Working people and school youth and children in the city gave warm welcome to those marchers coming while singing revolutionary songs.

The study tour makers placed a floral basket at the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in the city and made bows to them.

They had a meeting for sending a telegraphic message on their arrival to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at the Kanggye Post Office Revolutionary Site on Mar. 20.

The message to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.

The tour group makers in the message made a report to

Kim Jong Un that they had arrived in Kanggye safely after leaving Phophyong on the day when the President started the journey for learning.

After the meeting they went round the Kanggye Post Office, Kanggye Inn Revolutionary Site and the Jagang Provincial Revolutionary Museum.
