Rosanita Campos, vice-president of the Party for Free Motherland of Brazil, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee decided to give wide publicity to the sacred revolutionary career and feats of the President through media and organize a celebration meeting, seminar, film show and other political and cultural events on the occasion of the anniversary.
