Day of Sun to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, March 24 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, was formed on Mar. 15. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nationalist Socialist Party of Romania and chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Mar. 16 to April 15 and decided to hold political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of the President in the period. |
