Present at the reception on invitation were officials of the government, ministries and bodies of Russia such as the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Korean War Veterans' Council of Russia, the Russkiy Mir Foundation of Russia, the Academy of Sciences, TASS and Interfax news agencies and the newspaper Zavtra.

The DPRK ambassador to Russia and staff members of his embassy were on hand.

The participants laid bouquets before the picture depicting President Kim Il Sung standing together with leader Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the reception.

Meanwhile, the DPRK missions in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok arranged receptions on March 16 and 23.
