The work, published on March 26, Juche 57(1968), indicates tasks and ways arising in improving the public health service.

Present at the meeting were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned, officials of the fields of public health, medical science and education in Pyongyang.

Jang Jun Sang, minister of Public Health, said in his report that Kim Il Sung's work is an immortal great programme that gives the clear-cut answers to the theoretical and practical questions arising in implementing the Party's policy of the preventive medicine.

The reporter said that great successes have been achieved in the public health service under the leadership of the peerlessly great men for the last 50 years since the work was made public.

He called for attaining without fail the grand goal for building a highly-civilized powerful socialist country set at the Seventh Congress of the WPK by making a fresh turn in the public health service under the leadership of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
