Study Tour Group Passes Hyangsan
Hyangsan, March 27 (KCNA) -- The group of schoolchildren from across the country, who is making a 250-mile journey for learning, passed through Hyangsan.

The members of the study tour group, who crossed Myongmun Pass on Mar. 24, continued their journey via Tongsin and Huichon through which President Kim Il Sung went keenly realizing the reality of the country groaning under the bayonets of the Japanese imperialists.

Officials of the local party and power organs and working people's organizations greeted the study tour makers and encouraged them, marching together with them.

The study tour makers dropped in at Chongwun Lodge and Huichon Inn Revolutionary Site to deeply grasp the revolutionary feats of the President who cherished a lofty idea to save the destiny of the country and the nation, making 250-mile journeys for learning and national liberation when he was young.

During a break they had a meeting to express their impressions of the reminiscences of anti-Japanese guerrillas and their compositions and danced and held a recreation party.

They arrived in Hyangsan Township on Mar. 26.

They were warmly welcomed by working people from all walks of life and school youth and children.

They placed a floral basket at the statue of the President in the township and made bows to him.

They left Hyangsan Township on Tuesday and are on march for Mangyongdae.
