Day of Sun to Be Marked in UK

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- A UK preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was inaugurated in London on March 19.

Dermot Hudson, chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee fixed the celebration period from March 19 to April 15 and decided to give publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of the President and hold diverse political and cultural events in the period.
