Day of Sun to Be Marked in Egypt

| Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- An Egyptian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, was formed on March 20. Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt and chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from March 20 to April 15 and decided to organize political and cultural events including seminar, film show and photo exhibition to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of the President in the period. |
