Day of Sun to Be Celebrated in Russia

Pyongyang, March 30 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun, was formed by the Communist Party "Communists of Russia" on March 21.

M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung through media and hold a seminar and other political and cultural events on the occasion of his 106th birth anniversary.
