Day of Sun to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (the Day of the Sun) was formed by the All-Russia Lenin Young Communist League on March 26. Podzorov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the league, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from March 26 to April 16 and decided to organize a seminar and other political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of the President in the period. |
