Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set a celebration period from March 21 to April 16 and decided to organize political and cultural events introducing the exploits of the President and the achievements made by the Korean army and people in building a powerful socialist country under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
