The Chongryon Central Standing Committee in the letter extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to Kim Jong Un for having opened a new chapter in the traditional DPRK-China friendship and provided an important turning point in speeding up the victorious advance of the cause of building a powerful socialist country true to the noble intention of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

The letter said that his first lightning visit to China is a special event of weighty historic significance in its width and depth.

It noted that, through the wonderful event of his unofficial China visit, he declared to the whole world that the DPRK-China friendship forged by the preceding leaders of the two countries at the cost of blood is everlasting, and he paved a broad avenue of victory for the building of a powerful socialist country.

The letter praised him as a heaven-sent peerless patriot for the country and the nation, a symbol of the dignity and mightiness of the great Paektusan nation and a legendary great man revered and followed by all people in the world.
