The letter said all the officials of the General Association and the Korean nationals in China extend the warmest congratulations and glory and deep gratitude to the Supreme Leader who made the first historic visit to China and thus developed the traditional DPRK-China friendship, provided by the leaders of the elder generations of the two countries, into a new high stage and made undying contributions to the cause of global independence while giving great strength and courage, national pride and self-confidence to all Koreans in China.

It stressed that his first China visit is a historic event as it demonstrated the steadfast stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government to develop on a new height the friendly relations between the DPRK and China, which were established in the sacred common struggle for the socialist cause and whose nature has been protected in the face of all sorts of storms and stress of history, true to the noble intention of the preceding leaders.

Seeing the Chinese party and state leaders give warm welcome and cordial hospitality to the Supreme Leader with utmost sincerity, the Korean residents in China have keenly felt again the distinguished personality and greatness of the Supreme Leader who is identical to the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and more deeply the pride and honor of the nation being blessed with the great men generation after generation, the letter said.

It said the firm faith more deeply cherished in the minds of the Korean nationals in China is that the socialist homeland and the dignity and happiness of Koreans in China and the life and future of all other overseas compatriots are guaranteed by the Supreme Leader.
