Present there were officials of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, and children, nurses, teachers and doctors of the center and parents.

The participants in the ceremony laid a floral basket and bouquets at the picture depicting smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il among children and paid tribute to them.

Speakers at the ceremony said that many successes have been achieved in the rehabilitation, nursing and upbringing and education of children with disability over the past years thanks to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of love for the posterity.

They stressed that the children with disability would enjoy the happiest life and grow brightly and lively under the benefits of the socialist system which puts forward children as the king of the country.

The participants went round various parts of the center.
