70th Anniversary of April 3 Popular Uprising Marked in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, April 4 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations including the Jeju Headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions reportedly held an all-people meeting outside the Jeju City Office on March 31 ahead of the 70th anniversary of the April 3 Popular Uprising. At the meeting speakers said that the truth behind the uprising has not been made public without a formal and legal name. They stressed that workers should take the lead in forcing the U.S. responsible for suppressing the uprising at the point of bayonet to make an apology. |
