Present at the floral basket-laying ceremony were officials concerned and Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and staff members of his embassy and Chinese guests.

Placed at the tower were floral baskets in the names of the Chinese embassy and various Chinese delegations.

Also placed there were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of Urban Management, the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the DPRK-China Friendship Association and the Pyongyang City People's Committee.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers before going round the tower.

Then, they visited the Songhung Revolutionary Site in Hoechang County, South Phyongan Province and laid floral baskets at the cemetery of martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers there.
