Jang Chun Sil, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said the DPRK could foil the outrageous challenges by the imperialists, firmly defend socialism and demonstrate the dignity of Juche Korea as it held Kim Jong Il in the highest post of the state.

They said Kim Jong Il provided a firm military guarantee for successfully advancing the building of a powerful socialist country, out of his maxim that military muscle precisely means the national strength and strong arms guarantee socialism and safety and happiness of the people.

They urged all women's union officials and members to dedicate their all to the struggle for accomplishing the great historic cause of building a powerful socialist nation, true to the intention and wishes of Kim Jong Il.
