At the center of the stamp there is a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il, eternal chairman of the NDC.

Written on its upper part are letters reading "The most profound respect and eternal glory to the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il". And a picture symbolic of the glory, dignity and invincible military might of the DPRK is depicted on its lower part.
