The statement expressed indignation for the conservative media such as Munhwa Ilbo and Chosun Ilbo which distorted the truth and justice of the uprising and blamed the organization for participating in a meeting for denouncing the U.S. under the auspices of reunification movement organizations including the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification (Pomminryon).

It urged the conservative media to stop slandering the spirit of the uprising at once, saying their mud-slinging was based on the sinister aim to distort the truth of the uprising.
