During the visit, Ri Yong Ho had talks with Rashid Meredov, foreign minister of Turkmenistan.

Exchanged at the talks were a series of matters arising in further developing the traditional friendly relations between the two countries and international and regional issues of mutual concern.

Rashid Meredov expressed his will for developing the friendly relations with the DPRK in the future, hailing the fact that the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un made important proposals for improving the north-south relations from the beginning of the year and the course of detente started on the Korean peninsula thanks to the practical measures for implementing them and the progress is being made in developing the inter-Korean relations.

Ri Yong Ho paid a courtesy call on Mammedowa Gulsat, speaker of the Parliament.
