President Kim Il Sung laid a valuable foundation of the DPRK-China friendship with the preceding Chinese leaders in an armed struggle for liberating Korea from the gangster-like Japanese imperialists' colonial rule.

We will as ever extend the positive support to the DPRK government's principled stand to reject the imperialists' aggression moves, defend the country's sovereignty and provide the durable peace on the Korean peninsula.

The Youth Front of the Communist Party of Italy said that Kim Jong Un's China visit is of significance in propelling the traditional DPRK-China friendship and cooperative relations among countries aspiring after justice.

The Italian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association and the Italy-DPRK Cultural and Friendship Association said in a joint statement that the Chinese party and state leaders warmly welcomed and gave cordial hospitality to Kim Jong Un with the greatest sincerity. This clearly shows his high international prestige, the joint statement added. It noted:

The DPRK is now demonstrating its might as a powerful country dynamically advancing under the uplifted banner of independence and socialism on the international arena. This proves that the line and policies of the DPRK party and government are very just.
