U.S. Brutal Suppression of April 3 Uprising Denounced in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, April 10 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the People's Party of south Korea on April 3 made public a commentary denouncing the U.S. for its brutal suppression of the April 3 Popular Uprising, according to the south Korean internet paper Jaju Sibo. The commentary said the April 3 Popular Uprising was a resistance of the inhabitants on Jeju Island to reject the establishment of "separate government" in south Korea by the U.S. military administration and establish a national unified state. It stressed the need to clearly define the resistance as the April 3 popular resistance on Jeju Island and let the coming generations know the atrocities of the U.S. and the Syngman Rhee regime that killed tens of thousands of innocent people, seeking split. |
