S. Korean Authorities Urged to Refrain from Hurting Their Dialogue Partner
Pyongyang, April 11 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities recently supported the UN Security Council's addition to the "list of sanctions on the DPRK" as an expression of the "will to fulfill the resolution on sanctions on the DPRK".

Minju Joson in a commentary Wednesday brands this as a confrontational racket aimed at chilling the present situation that has been created with much effort.

Any Korean who truly wishes for peace on the Korean peninsula and reunification of the country is obliged to put the interests of the nation above all and subordinate everything to them, the commentary says, and goes on:

But the south Korean authorities continue to slander the DPRK behind the scene despite their call for "dialogue" and "improvement of the relations" in front.

We would like to make it clear to the south Korean authorities. Their act of getting keen on the sanctions and pressure on the DPRK by currying favor with outsiders will bring them isolation and destruction. This is the lesson left by the Lee Myung Bak and Park Geun Hye regimes which were forsaken by the nation and sternly punished by history.

The idea of prioritizing the nation and national cooperation can never go together with dependence on outsiders and cooperation with outsiders.

If the south Korean authorities truly hope for peace and reunification, they should prioritize the interests of the nation and refrain from slandering and hurting the fellow countrymen, their dialogue partner. If they adopt double-dealing attitudes as now, it will bring them irrevocable serious consequences. They should clearly remember this, warns the commentary.
