The book, a cycle of the Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, systematically and comprehensively records the works of leader Kim Jong Il in a chronological order.

It carries 24 works including talks made by Kim Jong Il from April to May Juche 62(1973).

The work "Theory of Cinematic Art" originally clarifies the nature of the literature as humanics and its fundamentals on the basis of the Juche idea and gives comprehensive and scientific answers to the theoretical and practical problems arising in developing the cinematic art as required by a new era and desired by the popular masses and building socialist literature and arts.

Another work says that the 250-mile journey for learning made by President Kim Il Sung was one for the revolution and calls upon the schoolchildren to prepare themselves as revolutionary fighters loyal to the Party and the leader through the journey.

His other works call on the party officials to thoroughly apply the President's popular work method and style to the party work.

The book contains the works giving answers to the problems arising in preserving with care the nation's cultural heritage and covering mountains of the country with green woods by channeling great efforts to tree planting and forest protection.
