International and home concour prize winners of various countries, famous artistes and Korean artistes from abroad gave a beautiful and gorgeous artistic depiction of the world people's reverence for the peerlessly great men.

Colorful numbers reflecting the desire and wishes of mankind to build a new world free from war and servitude in the idea of independence, peace and friendship were put on the stage.

Among the audience were members of the festival organizing committee, officials concerned, Pyongyangites, youths and students, foreign embassy officials and foreign guests staying here also watched the performances.

Performances were given at the Pyongyang Grand Theater by the Volinaya Stepi Cossack Art Troupe of Russia, the Classical Ballet Group of the State Music Academy Theatre of Belarus, the Lao State Art Troupe, the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Mongolian Army, the Flamenco Band of Spain and the art troupe of Koreans in Japan.

The Russian State Academic People's Chorus Named after M. E. Pyatnichki, the Chelyabinsk State Ural Dance Group, a soloist from the Japan-Korea Society for Music and Art Interchange of Japan, the art troupe of Koreans in China and a singer of the art troupe of the International United Confederation of Koreans performed at the Ponghwa Art Theater.

At the music hall of Kim Won Gyun University of Music there were performances by a Bulgarian opera singer, a Polish soloist, a Cyprus musical company and a Portuguese conductor.

Performances were given at the Pyongyang Circus Theatre by the Circus of State Acrobatic Company of Russia, the Moscow Bolshoi State Circus of Russia, the Belarusian National Circus, a Thai jugglery troupe and a Singaporean magician.
