At the meeting Kim Chang Yop, chairman of the Union Central Committee, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the President provided the sustained boon for the eternal victory and prosperity of Juche Korea with his profound ideology and theories, outstanding leadership and gigantic revolutionary practices all his great life.

He created the shining tradition of the peasants' movement in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolution and led step by step the Union of Agricultural Workers so that it could discharge its mission and duty as a dependable helper and companion of the Party during the building of a new country and the Fatherland Liberation War and at each historical stage of socialist construction, they noted.

They called on all the officials and members of the union to bring into a reality the behests of the peerlessly great men by holding them in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche for all ages and thus live up to their obligations as the descendents of President Kim Il Sung and soldiers and disciples of leader Kim Jong Il.
