At the talks both sides exchanged deep views on further developing the relations between the WPK and the CPC on the basis of the agreement made at the historic meeting of the top leaders of the two countries.

The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.

Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Ryu Myong Son, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and officials of the International Department of the C.C., WPK, and from the Chinese side were officials of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., CPC, and Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.
