Taking part in the camping are members of the Children's Union who have distinguished themselves in study, organizational life, socio-political activities and do-good-thing movement.

A camping starting ceremony was held at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp on Sunday.

Present there were Kim Su Gil, chairman of the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, teaching staff and employees of the camp and campers.

The participants placed a floral basket and bunches of flowers before a mosaic depicting the image of President Kim Il Sung at the camp and paid tribute to him.
