The Pyongyang City Taekwon-Do team took the first place in total standings.

The North Hwanghae Provincial Taekwon-Do team came first in Taekwon-Do event.

Men players of the South Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-Do team and women players of the Pyongyang City Taekwon-Do team won the team sparring matches.

The South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do team took the first place in Paduk event.

Kim Kwang Chon (man) of the South Phyongan Provincial Taekwon-Do team and Hong Yun Mi (woman) of the Taekwon-Do team of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee received the individual technical prize in Taekwon-Do event and Jon Kum Sok (man) of the South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do team and Jang Ri Gyong (woman) of the Taekwon-Do team of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee got the individual technical prize in Paduk event.

Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who is chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Kim Yong Ho, secretary general of the Cabinet, Kim Chun Sik, secretary general of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, sportspersons and working citizens.

Prior to the ceremony there was a men's team sparring match between the North Hwanghae and South Phyongan provincial teams.
