Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and vice chairman of the C.C., WPK, Pak Pong Ju, Presidium member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the Cabinet, and other senior party and government officials, the chairman of a friendly party, officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in the city.

Enjoying the performance were also overseas compatriots including the congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China for celebrating the Day of the Sun, the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies, military attaches, members of foreign embassies here and other foreign guests.

Colorful numbers such as songs, musical instruments and dances were given by foreign and overseas compatriot artistes including a female soloist of the Lao State Art Troupe, Bulgarian opera singer, and artistes of the Russian State Academic People's Chorus Named after M. E. Pyatnichki, and the Volinaya Stepi Cossack Art Troupe of Russia.

Put on the stages were acrobatic and magic pieces.

Floral baskets were conveyed to the performers in congratulation of their successful performances.
