The head of the school said:

I am glad to unveil the tablet bearing the august name of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung at our school on the occasion of his 106th birth anniversary.

The head noted that the teaching staff and students of the school are deeply studying the immortal revolutionary activities of Kim Il Sung, the genuine comrade and comrade-in-arms of Cuban revolution.

He said that we will devote ourselves to preparing students to be reliable reserves of socialism and the Cuban revolution by making them follow the brilliant model of Kim Il Sung. We will also educate the students so as to make a positive contribution to the friendship and unity between the two countries, he added.

Present at the unveiling ceremony were personages of the school, Ministry of Higher Education, Cuban Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, masses, the DPRK ambassador to Cuba and staff members of his embassy.
