The guests were accompanied by Ri Chang Gun, vice department director of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK and staff members of his embassy.

Floral baskets in the names of Song Tao and Li Jinjun were placed at the tower.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the fallen soldiers of the Chinese People's Volunteers, who bravely fought in the Korean front against the imperialist invasion under the unfurled banner of resisting America and aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland.

Then they went round the tower.

Song Tao made an entry in the visitor's book that "China- DPRK friendship will be everlasting."
