Noting that farewell events and memorial services are to be held on the occasion, it urged probe into the truth about the failure to save even one life and punishment of those chiefly responsible for the case.

The Park Geun Hye "government", chief culprit of the Sewol disaster, had been keen on concealment, underreporting, fabrication and lies, far from making investigation, the editorial said, stressing that no statute of limitations is applicable to the probe into the case.
