The letter said that the participants would make all efforts to more significantly and splendidly organize the international festival, with the honor and pride of having lauded President Kim Il Sung and HE Kim Jong Il as the eternal great sun in the era of independence and HE Kim Jong Un as the sun of the 21st century guiding the cause of global independence to victory last August when they climbed Mt Paektu during the 5th International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu in Korea.

Today the world progressives are watching with deep emotion and admiration the reality of the DPRK in which the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are carried forward and developed in all fields by Kim Jong Un, the letter noted, adding:

The DPRK rose up proudly to the position of strategic state, recognized by the world, smashing the persistent provocations and threats of the hostile forces. This is a brilliant fruition of the line of self-defence, the spirit of self-reliance and self-development and the noble mission for global peace consistently maintained by the illustrious great men.

In particular, HE Kim Jong Un's lightning activities making a great sensation worldwide are a clear demonstration of his high international prestige and rare wisdom and the strategic position of Juche Korea and are a great contribution to peace and stability in the Korean peninsula and the region and the building of an independent, new world.

The letter expressed conviction that the building of a powerful socialist country would be victoriously accelerated in the DPRK and the cause of global independence would dynamically advance thanks to Kim Jong Un.
