Minju Joson Blasts S. Korean Conservatives' Anti-DPRK Remarks

Pyongyang, April 19 (KCNA) -- Hong Jun Phyo, representative of the "Liberal Korea Party", and other conservative riff-raffs of south Korea are describing the detente on the Korean peninsula as "result of sanctions and pressure", "camouflaged peace offensive" and "strategy for gaining time". Minju Joson Thursday in a commentary brands this as dirty invective of confrontational maniacs and mentally deranged persons, rejected by history and the mindset, after being marginalized by the trend of the times toward peace and reunification, to misrepresent the truth and tarnish the hard-won atmosphere for dialogue. The commentary goes on: Their assertion that the present phase of situation is "result of sanctions and pressure" is shameless sophism that can be made by the group of traitors keen on sycophancy toward the U.S. and confrontation with the fellow countrymen. Their description about "camouflaged peace offensive" and "time-gaining strategy" is a traitorous one aimed to incite awareness of hostility toward the DPRK and check and quench the spirit for reunification through alliance with the north mounting among south Koreans. No matter how mischievously a handful of fault-finders may try, no one will lend an ear to it nor can they check the trend of the times. The conservative group should not run amuck, clearly understanding that all Koreans and the international community spit at their dirty demeanor. |
