Minju Joson Urges U.S. to Keep Pace with International Community
Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- Soon after the adoption of a resolution denouncing human rights abuses by Israel at the UN Human Rights Council some days ago, the U.S. talked about the necessity to reform the council that has become the "heaven of dictatorial regimes", complaining that the council keeps attacking Israel, the only democratic state in the Mid-east. Meanwhile, the U.S. newspaper The Hill also said that criticism of Israel betrays the serious double-dealing attitude of the UN Human Rights Council.

Commenting on this, Minju Joson Friday brands this as a shameless act of confusing the right and wrong.

Israel's wild act of destroying Mid-east peace and mercilessly killing Palestinians is a hideous crime that deserves denunciations thousands of times, the commentary says, and goes on:

If the U.S. is interested in protecting human rights, it should keep pace with the efforts of the international community to denounce and check Israel's human rights abuses.

But, the U.S. chimed in with Israel in the eyes of the international community, fully disclosing that it is applying double-dealing standards in human rights and politicizing it.

The U.S. is calling Israel, which is denounced as a human rights abuser by the world, "the most democratic state" in Mid-east and mocking at the international community.

The reality proves that the primary task for settling the human rights issue is for the international community to heighten vigilance against the U.S. deceptive "human rights" rhetoric and reject it.
