New Stamp Issued in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- The State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued a new stamp (one sheetlet) in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Joint Conference of Representatives of Political Parties and Public Organizations in North and South Korea in Pyongyang in April 1948 guided by President Kim Il Sung.

Seen in the stamp is a Korean painting which depicted the President waving back to the enthusiastically cheering masses at the conference hall, after opening up a brilliant chapter of great national unity by calling on patriotic forces from all walks of life in the north and the south for unity.
